Samsung UN55D7900 Very nice TV.
By far the best TV we have ever owned. 3-D viewing is awesome, apps are a little slow but know big deal to us since we don't use the TV for the internet. However, when we do use the TV to view certain apps it works just fine. Not much different than the 8000 series except for the bezel and the 8000 comes with 3-d glasses. For the picture quality and the price at Amazon you cant beat it. The people on TV appear so real you feel there in the room with you. Some reviews mention the white bleeding in around the corners which is only visible sometimes when not viewing the entire screen. My wife and I hardly notice it. Highly recommend this TV. Samsung UN55D7900 Exceptional LED TV.
This LED TV is an exceptional HDTV and an impressive piece of technology. The picture is superb, the software and functionality are expansive, and the thin-ness of the device is remarkable. Amazon's delivery via CEVA was almost as advertised - about 45 minutes later than the time window promised. Set-up was easy, with one glitch: I still can't get the QWERTY side of the remote to "pair" with the TV. The "old style" side of the remote works fine and the fact there's a QWERTY side to the remote is impressive by itself. [update: there is a fix on the Samsung website. Both the QWERTY remote and the TV itself each have to be reset separately, before pairing.] One error in the manufacturer's on-line information is wall mounting the TV (which I did) requires a VESA 400 x 400 mount; not a 400 x 600 mount. [udpate: The mounting bolts loosened. Locktite should fix that.] But those are minor flaws in what is overall a very satisfying product and delivery.

Got my smart tv in June came with free 3d br player free portable br player an 5 movies an 2 pair of 3d glasses.great price 2450.00 this tv has the brightest picture I have ever seen,movies don't look like movies we used to remember.the picture is flawless.hd is incredible.3d is better then other 3d tvs because of thebrighter picture,don't hesitate buy this tv.Only difference between this an the 8000 series is bezel is silver on the 8000 an stand is different it's flat plus samsung logo life's up, not worth extra money picture is all that matters

I've had the UN55D7900XF now for two weeks and Love It! It exceeds my expectations..... I'm told that it's the same TV as the UND8000 but with the clear bezel instead of the silver. I couldn't believe it when I connected to the internet and it had near 5,000 movie titles to choose from for download, unfortunately my internet service (Verizon) only limits me to 5gb per month usage. Nice Job Samsung!!

great service. great product. great price.

The only concern that i had was the speakers. I even bought the polk-audio 3000 speaker bar before the tv had gotten my home. It turns out the speakers work just fine for me.

Just one suggestion, if you just wanna watch Netflix without enjoyong Blu-ray movies. There are many good Tvs with good price out there for you to choose. Netflix looks great with this 7900 series. However, i am not able to see the difference between my LG lx6500 and this 7900 ( maybe it is just me). I just got this TV 3 days ago. It has been great and i hope it stays this way.

to sum it up, it is a great TV and i really think my money is well spent.

I am still waiting for my 3d-starter to come. Once i get my starter, i will update my 3D experience with this TV.

Hopefully my review helps someone who was like me looking for a good TV.
